Infrastructure :
MAEER's Arts Commerce & Science College provides excellent facilities in terms of library, computer lab, guest house, hostel, cafeteria, group discussion rooms, auditorium, student sit outs and so on.
Computer Lab
The college houses centrally air-conditioned computer laboratories with 260 branded dual core workstations networked with two servers. Students have 24-hour free internet access. In addition to this, the e-campus at MIT, Pune, with approximately 1000 computers are directly linked with college network with a dedicated lease line internet connection with a bandwidth of 2 MBPS. There is a facility for online teaching and practical. The college has four servers loaded with various software like Oracle, Visual Studio, Advanced Java, Page Maker, Corel draw, Linux, etc which are accessible from all workstations. Qualified lab staff is available to guide the students.
Electronics Lab
The electronics department of MACS College has well established lab with all latest instruments. The lab has separate 10 computers with advanced Pentium processors & equipped with software like Keil, Mathlab, Nasm, etc. All the necessary instruments like CROs, signal Generators, Voltmeters, Multimeters, a.c. and d.c. motors, dimmerstats, etc are available for the students.
Physics Lab
The college hosts a fully functional Physics Laboratory which is well equipped with the necessary experiment set-ups in accordance with the latest revision in syllabi. The laboratory can comfortably accommodate a batch of 20 students at one go. The lab also provides an apt seating arrangement where students can prepare the requisite write-ups. The students are granted easy access to all the apparatus and instruments; under the supervision of their teacher; for refreshment of their knowledge as well as revision if required.
Library
The library has a collection of more than 4000 books of B.A, B.Com, PGDIB, B.Sc., MCA, and foreign Languages. It subscribes to over 12 national and international journals/magazines. The library is computerized and also has collection of CD’s, DVD’s, audio/video cassettes, and projection system. Beside this, college students also have an access to MIT Library, World Peace Center Library and British Council Library. The library serves to be one of the strongest pillars of this fort of learning. Library has purchased software called “Slim 21” for various library related works. The software provides OPAC facility which provides full information regarding books issued/returned/journals/CDs/DVDs etc.
Hostel / Guest House
College shares combined hostel facilities for boys and girls available at MIT's Pune Campus. Hostels are well equipped with facilities like, public telephone, TV room and First aid. Hostel accommodation is allotted strictly on the merit basis.
The institute provides a fully furnished luxurious guesthouse for visitors and parents. However, a number of private hostels and paying guest facilities are available at reasonable rates around MIT Campus. Information on the same can be sought from the Admissions office.
Chandralok Garden Canteen
Full-fledged cafeteria is available at MIT's campus (at about 200 mtrs. from College building). In addition, a relaxation room is provided for students within the college where tea, coffee, snacks, soft drinks etc are available. TV and VCD are available in the relaxation room to watch news channels and educational films. This facilitates students to relax and gain some information during scheduled break.
