Seminar on Presentation Skills
A Seminar on Presentation Skills organized to for MCA course was organized. Such programmes provide opportunities to students get the opportunity to face the audience and their confidence is boosted which is essential to cope up with the today's corporate world.

IT EVENT

 Power-Tech 2007
 A joint team of MCM & MCA organized "PowerTech-2007" where professionals from different 
 reputed companies like Tech- Mahindra, Cybage, and Wipro were  invited.

TECH U-VA 2008
College organized intercollegiate event TECH U-VA 2008 on the occasion of Silver Jubilee year of MIT TECH U-VA 2008, the event was related to Information Technology consisting of various competitions and seminars, which were successfully organized on 15th and 16th March, 2008, Mr. Somesh Chabalani, Director of SunGard was the chief guest of the function. More than 400 students from various colleges in Pune, Nashik, Jalgoan and experts from IT industries participated in this event.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME

• National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) Unit was established in July 2007.Intake 50 students.
Students are exposed to various social activities like global warming awareness rally organized by University of Pune, the Inter-Collegiate Zonal Workshop for N.S.S. Volunteers on Environment, and one day camp organized at the village Ambarved Gadadawane, Tal. Mulshi, Dist. Pune. Activities like Awareness Rally, Socioeconomic survey, meeting with Gram Panchayat, interactions with villagers, visit to Ashram School of tribal people etc. were undertaken. The students attended a 10-day Residential camp at viIlageAmbervet Gadadawane, Tal. Mulshi, Dist. Pune from 12th January 2008 to 21st January 2008. During the camp, lectures of various eminent personalities like international scientist Dr. A. D. Karve, social activist, Dr. Kumar Saptarshee, Mrs. Vaishali Vernekar, Radio and T.V. artist and botanist, Dr. K.N. Dhumal were organized.

Gymkhana

College has class one facilities in Gymnasium , every year, the College organizes interclass sports competitions. The college hosted intercollegiate judo competition. The college provides all facilities for indoor and outdoor games.
Our Sports Stars:-

  1. Aniruddha Sharma of F.Y. B. Com was selected for All India University Baseball Competition, which was held at Srinagar and also for the All India University
  2. Softball Competition, which was held at Amritsar. He has also been selected for 4th World University Baseball Championship which will beheld injury 2008.
  3. Mr. Gourav Kulkarni of S.Y. B. Com secured 1st place in 100 and 200 meter Intercollegiate Athletic Competitions and was selected for Pune City Zone.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
The college organizes various cultural activities for the all round development of students such as MIT Sanskritik Sandhya (MIT Cultural Evening), Kranti Din Celebrations on 9th August, World Peace March on 2nd October. 

Synergy as the annual social gathering organized in the presence of Chief guest Shri. Ajinkya Deo, the renowned Marathi film star was the Chief Guest and Shri. Jayant K. Gurav, Registrar, YASHADA, Pune was the Guest of Honour for Synergy-2008.
Students participates in various intercollege cultural activities and competitions.
 Mr. PrashantTetali and Mr. Pankaj Upadhyay secured first position in WALLSTREET 2008 organized by Dept. of Economics, Fergusson College Pune.
